Uniforms

We wear two types of uniforms in Cub Scouts. Our formal uniform is referred to as a “Class A” uniform. Our informal uniform is the “Class B” uniform. Unless told otherwise, Scouts should wear their Class A uniform to all Scouting events.

Class A Uniform

The Class A uniform is slightly different depending on your grade. Uniforms should be neat and tucked in at all times. Pants should be slacks or jeans without holes. Sweatpants and windbreakers are not allowed. The elements are as follows:

  • Uniform:
    • Kindergarten: Lions T-Shirt
    • 1st – 3rd Grade: Blue Uniform
    • 4th – 5th Grade: Tan Uniform
  • 922 Patches
  • Den Number Patch
  • Rank Patches*
  • Neckerchief and Slide*

Recommended

  • Hat
  • Belt

Optional

  • Pants
  • Socks

*Do not buy the neckerchief, neckerchief slide, or rank patches. These will be provided to you by the Pack. Lions do not wear a neckerchief or accompanying slide.

Class B Uniform

The Class B uniform is our Pack’s orange t-shirt. That’s it! You are free to wear your hat or official Scout pants/shorts but those are optional. This is to identify our Pack as a group while out in public but in a more relaxed manner.
